Interesting Tidbits
- Ivan rolls over from front to back
- is so close to back to front (though, he’s lost interest lately…)
- found his feet – puts them in his mouth regularly
- giggles and cackles
- talks and babbles – carries on conversations
- he has finished one whole month of going to daycare everyday and is doing great!
- This month we think he looks like Emily – still has Mike’s mouth and ears – strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes. His hair is a dark blonde/brown at the bottom of the back of his head (right under the epic balding ring)
- Sleeps through the night (8:30-4:30, a feeding, and then back to sleep until 6:30-7)
- we can hip hold him one handed!
Ivan Loves:
- holding hands
- his unnamed animal – or lovey (whose animal identity we have yet to figure out…)
- country music
- stroller rides (as long as he’s sitting upright and not in carseat)
- being bounced on an exercise ball
- cuddling chest to chest
- Staring out the window
- playing on his activity mat
- having a good conversation
- his Ergo carrier
Ivan Hates:
- being hungry
- being in his carseat when he’s sleepy
- when he’s tired, he hates everything…
- anything going near his nose (nosefrida is NOT his friend…)
Things we’ve learned this month:
- We are total baby wearing believers. He’s so calm in there.
- Bouncing on the exercise ball is still useful
- Co-sleeping is wonderful (we only let him sleep with us in the spare bed, for the last hour or two in the morning or naps)
- Ivan tolerates the bath – but doesn’t love it.
- Riding in the car is made much easier with toys – but sometimes we have to hold hands (while driving) which also works for a fussy Ivan.
