That, my friends, is his 3rd 2-3 hr nap of the day at around 5pm. I think we call this transition into babyhood.
Happy as a clam and no idea what was about to come next!
Ivan had a fever wednesday, and a not so quick trip to the ED (apparently little fevers are a big deal to pediatricians if baby is under 3mo), lots of tests, and the little guy has a UTI, causing some GI issues and the fever. He is doing much better now, has some sugary antibiotics to take every day (which he thoroughly enjoys) and a few more tests scheduled to rule out urinary tract or kidney issues.
This momma would be really happy to never watch them catheterize him or draw blood ever again =)
In July, Ivan and I went on an epic trip to see… just about everyone. He met all his grandparents and Aunt Courtney in Boston in June, but this month he got to see almost the whole clan in Ohio and NC, attended a wedding in Cinci, and put his feet in the atlantic ocean. We also flew on a plane for the first time! Ivan was a flying champ and pretty much just slept and ate the whole time. I missed getting photos of everyone – there was a lot going on!
